Harry Potter Baby Clip
I love a good Harry Potter-themed do it yourself present. This one is for a good friend of mine who’s expecting a baby in spring and loves Harry Potter as much as I do 😍
The crochet beads are a fun little project that you can embroider with cute Harry Potter things and then string up into a baby pacifier or teething-ring clip. Or you can string them into a cute rattle!

I experimented a bit with the patterns, especially with how many center rows it needs.
I also wanted to crochet in rows and not in circular motion. Because that way you can add cool multi-color rows for a true Harry Potter feeling!
This only has 3 rows in the middle and the crochet ball barely covers the bead 😟
This bead has 5 center rows and fits nicely 🤓 Use the pattern above for this result.
You can embroider a cute Harry Potter doodle onto the beads. I went with a snitch ⤵️
I used a thick needle to thread the clips and rattles. I reinforced the clips by going twice through all beads. At one end I fixed a teething ring, at the other a clip. I also made a clip with a long loop at the end so that you can thread a pacifier there.
I hope you like my Harry Potter-themed baby clips!
Happy crocheting,
love,
Lenzi
PS: Bob, our cat, is always a great help, by the way 😂😂😂
